Hair is one of the most precious assets of every woman. There are so many products in the market today so that, we are often tempted to try out some these. Prolonged use of chemical products will damage your hairs irreversibly. However, there are some natural homemade recipes that can do the trick for your hairs and keep them strong, healthy and fresh.
It requires patience and regular application of these natural agents to see the results. Now let us review some of the known home remedies for healthy hairs:
- Warm oil massage
Massaging the dry and itchy scalp with a mixture of coconut oil, olive oil and almond oil soothes the scalp and boosts the blood flow. Adding a few curry leaves to this oil can promote hair growth.
After applying this mixture to the scalp, wrap a hot towel on the head and leave it to get absorbed for thirty minutes. Wash with a mild herbal shampoo.
- Egg mask
The egg mask helps to add silky shine and vigour to dry hair. To prepare the mixture, beat one or two eggs (depending upon the volume of hair) add three tablespoons of yoghurt and half a lemon to it. Add this mask to the scalp and hairs. Let the mask dry for thirty or forty minutes. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
You’ll get strong, shiny and moisturised hair that looks salon treated.
- Aloe vera mask
Break open an aloe vera leaf and scoop out the gel completely. Add three tablespoon yoghurt to it. Stir this mixture to get a smooth paste. Apply this mixture to the roots of the hair gently using light pressure. Let the mask dry for thirty or forty minutes. Wash to get super shiny, and nourished hair.
Alternatively, you may also apply only the aloe vera gel and leave it on as a conditioner.
- Honey and coconut oil mask
Whip up a conditioning hair mask with coconut oil and honey. Apply the mixture on the scalp with clean hands.
Coconut oil breathes life to dry and damaged hair with loads of vitamin and antioxidants. Honey helps to lock moisture into the hair strands. Wash with a mild herbal shampoo after thirty minutes.
- Apple cider vinegar mask
Apply a homemade mask with one part of apple cider vinegar, two part of the olive oil and three egg whites. Let it dry. Wash after 30 minutes.
Eating a well-balanced diet and avoiding frequent use of heated styling tools is also important to boost the health of your hair. Hydrating the hair weekly will help to nourish them and leave you with gorgeous locks.
