    I snore a lot while sleeping which is disturbing others. Can you advise how can it be reduced.

    Thanks for posting a query.

    To reduce snoring, you can do the following.

    Avoid sleeping on the back which causes tongue to fall back and hence causes snoring. Try and sleep on the sides

    If you are overweight or obese, try and reduce you weight.  

    Avoid Alcohol, smoking and pillow if you are using.

    Develop a habit of sleeping early and getting up early. At least 8 hours of sleep is necessary for a sound sleep.

    If you have any nasal problem or cold which blocks the air passage needs to be treated. Please consult an ENT specialist for the same.

    Avoid sedative medication to reduce snoring.

    My boyfriend too snores while sleeping and I really find it too cute. You snore when you are very tired and I don’t think there’s something wrong in it.
